Many Lengthy Islanders say they plan to participate in a nationwide College Walkout Day on Friday morning.

Gov. Kathy Hochul carried out a common masks coverage for all youngsters in all college districts within the state. Massapequa mom Deanne Dunn says she shall be pulling her youngsters out of faculty at 10 a.m. Friday.
In an announcement, the Massapequa superintendent responded to those that plan to take part. It reads partially, “An unauthorized exit from the constructing shall be considered as an infraction to our Code of Conduct and can end in penalties as outlined within the code. This contains jeopardizing a fall athlete’s eligibility to take part as a Massapequa staff member.”
However Dunn and different dad and mom are keen to take a stand.
