The Lagos Waste Administration Authority has disclosed its plan to coach faculty youngsters between eight and 13 years on the necessity to handle waste and guarantee clear environments.
The Chief Govt Officer of LAWMA, Mr Ibrahim Odumboni, mentioned this in a press release on Thursday, including that the four-week summer time faculty would groom youngsters as environmental ambassadors.
He mentioned, “LAWMA Academy, the academic arm of the Lagos Waste Administration Authority, has accomplished plans to organise a four-week summer time faculty for youngsters aged 8-13 years from August 1-26, 2022, at Ijora-Olopa, with a deal with the tenets of efficient waste administration.
“The summer time faculty programme was designed to coach youngsters from a young age on the idea of waste and environmental administration in an effort to increase ambassadors for a cleaner and more healthy atmosphere by means of seasoned facilitators in a conducive studying atmosphere.
